The Dessert Dash dashboard lets you manage settings, print reports, and record donations for your Dessert Dash.

What Is A Dessert Dash?
A Dessert Dash is a fun, competitive way to raise funds during an event. Guests donate on behalf of their table, and the table with the highest total gets first choice from the available desserts.
In Auctria, each donation is recorded against one participant and counts toward that participant's table. There's no separate table-level donation.
Dessert Dash Items
The Dessert Dash needs your event to have Tables and Seating set up. A Dessert Dash item is created automatically for each table. Each one is a Donation item, hidden from the online catalog, so you can find them in your Items list by these names:

Running A Dessert Dash
- Announce the start and end times for the Dessert Dash.
- Print the Dessert Dash sheets from the Dessert Dash dashboard and hand them out to each table.
- Encourage donations by building excitement around the competition.
- Record the donations on the Dessert Dash Entry page.
- Find the winners by reviewing the total raised by each table.
- Let tables pick desserts in order, from highest to lowest total.
Each participant's donation appears on their Participant Statement after the event.
Set Up A Dessert Dash
Enable Dessert Dash
- Go to Actions → Donations, then click the Dessert Dash card.

- Click Enable Dessert Dash in the banner on the Dessert Dash dashboard. You can also turn it on with Enable dessert dash in the settings.

- Click Dessert Dash Settings in the sidebar.

| Dessert dash fundraising target | Sets the fundraising target for your Dessert Dash. |
| Dessert dash taxable value | Sets one taxable value for all Dessert Dash items. Leave it blank to keep each item's own taxable value. |

Record Dessert Dash Donations
Click Record Dessert Dash to open the Dessert Dash Entry page.

- Leave Select table on Auto, or pick a table (
DD1,DD2, …). - Enter the guest's Paddle#. The guest's table, or (No Table Assigned), appears under the entry row.
- Enter the Amount and press
Enter, or click + Record or Record Donation in the sidebar.

With Auto, a guest who isn't seated at a table can't be recorded, and you see the error Guest is not seated at a table. Pick their table manually instead.
Keep The Amount Between Entries
Click the pin icon beside Amount to keep the same amount for the next entry.
The Push Website Notifications option in the sidebar pushes each donation to the event website as soon as you record it.
Explorer License
On the Explorer license, a red banner at the top of the Dessert Dash Entry page shows your yearly income limit, with an Upgrade now link.
Review Dessert Dash Results
- Go to Actions → Donations → Dessert Dash.
- Review the results table. The Sort by total donations checkbox is ticked by default, so the tables are ranked from highest to lowest. The header shows the total as $X donated.

- For more detail, open the reports:
- The Dessert Dash Report shows totals by table.
- The Dessert Dash Donations Report shows each guest's donations.
