How To Add Early Bird Tickets
Learn how to make tickets available for early birds before regular sales of your admission tickets.
⏰ Early Bird Tickets
Early Bird Tickets are discounted or limited-time tickets typically sold before your regular tickets go on sale. You can add them just like any other ticket — just set an earlier Availability and, optionally, limit the Quantity.
Templates handle this automatically
If your event website uses a template, early bird tickets display automatically once they become available. No extra setup is needed.
📝 Add an Early Bird Ticket
- From Tickets, click Add Ticket Item.
- Assign a unique Item# to the ticket, such as
EARLYBIRDTICKET.
- Enter the ticket name in the Title field.
- Enter the ticket description in the Description field.
- Enter the ticket price in the Value field.
- Set Tickets Per Sale to define how many admissions are included in the ticket purchase — enter
1for a single admission. - If early bird admissions are limited, set the available amount in the Quantity field.
- To sell early bird tickets before event night, set the Override online bidding/sales start field to a date and time before the event begins.
- To end early bird sales before the event, set the Override online bidding/sales end field to a date and time before the event begins.
- Click Add Ticket Item to save the ticket.
