Track Bidder Donations in the Progress Tracker
Learn how to record donations made outside of Auctria so they appear in the Progress Tracker.
The Progress Tracker can be configured to reflect income from various sources. See Amount Source for the full list of options.
To include donations collected outside of Auctria — such as cash or check donations — record them through the Donations Dashboard so they contribute to the tracker's total.
Amount Source must be set correctly
The Progress Tracker's Amount Source must be set to Total event income or Total participant donations for externally recorded donations to appear in the tracker.
Recording an External Donation
- Open the Donations Dashboard from the event dashboard, then click Record Donation.
- Leave the Item field blank.
- Select the appropriate participant record for the donation.
- In the Payments section, open the Other tab and record the transaction as paid — the default Cash method works for this. Do not leave an outstanding balance.
The donation will now be included in the event's Total Income and reflected in the Progress Tracker's Amount Raised.
No participant record? Use a catch-all
Donations must be associated with a participant record. If you want to record a lump sum rather than individual donor records, create a single "catch-all" participant — for example, named Cash — and assign all such donations to it.
