Bid history references show the details of an individual bid or purchase, including what was bid on, who placed it, and how much it cost with taxes.
You'll use these references wherever a single bid is available:

|---|---|
| Outbid and bid confirmation emails | {{ Bid.Amount }} |
| An item's winning bid | {{ WinningBid.Amount }} (see Item References) |
Inside a loop through a list of bids, such as an item's WinningBids | {{ Amount }} |

Linked records:
Item and Bidder link to the item and the participant. On their own, {{ Item }} and {{ Bidder }} don't show anything. Add a dot and a field, such as {{ Item.Number }} or {{ Bidder.FirstName }}. See Item References and Participant References for the fields you can use.
Sales tax rates:
Sales tax 1, 2, and 3 match the tax rates set up for your event. If you only use one tax rate, you only need {{ SalesTax1 }} or {{ TotalSalesTax }}.
