Move Elements
Learn how to move column elements, rows, and sections on your event website.
During the design process, you may need to reposition elements on a page. A common scenario is accidentally placing a new row or section inside the Header or Footer, causing it to appear on every page rather than just the one you intended.
Column Elements
Column elements have a move icon in their bottom-left corner. Click and drag it to move the element to a new location. You can also drag the element by clicking anywhere within it.
If moves aren't sticking
If dragging a column element up or down doesn't produce the result you want, try adding a new row in the target location first, then move the element into it.
Row Elements
Select the row to reveal its reference bar on the far-left edge. Click and drag the bar to move the row up or down on the page. A preview indicator shows where the row will land — release your mouse button to complete the move.
You can also move a selected row using the Up and Down arrow buttons in the Website Editor Sidebar.
Sections
Select the section to reveal its reference bar on the far-left edge. Click and drag the bar to move the section up or down on the page.
You can also move a selected section using the Up and Down arrow buttons in the Website Editor Sidebar.
Up and Down arrows
The Up or Down arrow is greyed out when the element is already at its upper or lower limit on the page.
