How to Fix Website Page Content
Learn how to fix content that is appearing on every page of your event website when it should only appear on one.
If an element like an Item Catalog or a text block is showing up on every page of your site, it was likely added to the Header or Footer area instead of the page content area. Content placed in the Header or Footer appears on every page by default.
Identifying the Problem
When editing a page in the Website Editor, look for these indicators:
- An area label on the far-right edge of the editor shows which area you are working in (Header, Footer, or the page content area).
- A red notice at the top of the Website Editor Sidebar appears when the Header or Footer area is being modified.
If an element is inside the Header or Footer area, it will display on every page of your website.
Moving the Content
To move the element to the correct page content area:
- Hover over the element to reveal the move icon in its lower-left corner.
- Click and drag the element out of the Header or Footer and drop it into the page content area.
Make sure there's space to drop into
Column elements need an open column space to land in. If there isn't one, you may need to edit an existing row or add a new row before moving the element. See Adding Rows & Sections for details.
