How To Track Visitors
Learn how to track visitors to your Auctria website using the Website Analytics dashboard.
Website Analytics Dashboard
Auctria provides a Website Analytics dashboard to help you track visitor activity on your event website. Analytics are powered by Plausible.io and built in to every Auctria event — no account or setup needed on your end. The dashboard gives you insights into how guests find your site, helping you refine your promotional efforts.
To access your Website Analytics:
- Click Event Website in the left sidebar.
- Click Website Analytics.

Understanding Your Analytics

Your Website Analytics dashboard includes the following key metrics:
Top Sources
The Top Sources section shows where your visitors are coming from, helping you determine which promotional channels are most effective. Common sources include social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), email campaigns, direct traffic (visitors who type your URL directly), and referrals from your organization's website or partner sites.

Top Pages
The Top Pages section highlights the most visited pages on your event website, such as your homepage, ticketing or registration page, and auction catalog. If certain pages are underperforming, consider optimizing them with clearer messaging or additional promotional efforts.

Total Pageviews
The Total Pageviews metric shows how many times your website pages have been viewed, giving you an overall sense of engagement and interest in your event.

Maximizing Your Website Traffic
By reviewing your Website Analytics regularly, you can make data-driven decisions to optimize your event's marketing strategy:
- If social media is a top source, keep the momentum going — post more regularly, ask board members and volunteers to share on their own accounts, or boost posts to reach a wider audience.
- If direct traffic is high, your event URL is clearly resonating — keep it front and center in all your promotional materials so guests can find it easily.
- If email campaigns are a top source, analyze your email performance to improve open and click-through rates.
