How To Require ReCaptcha Validation

Find and enable the ReCaptcha Validation option in Auctria.

There may be a requirement from your credit card processor (generally via the Authorize.Net merchant account services) to have enabled a ReCaptcha validation protocol enabled. This is available in Auctria, although the option is disabled by default.

Steps

  1. Click Event Website on the left sidebar.
  2. In the Global Website Settings section, click the Require recaptcha for online purchases checkbox.

Note

The page uses Google ReCaptcha v3, which is "invisible". Your guests will not be asked to actually do anything during checkout, although the validation processes will be happening behind the scenes.

Forced Validation On All Checkouts

Auctria will automatically use the ReCaptcha Validation protocols if the IP address of the purchaser submits more than a couple of failed credit card attempts. Enabling the option will force the validation on all checkouts.
