Configuring Menu Entries
Learn how to configure and manage the navigation menu entries on your Auctria event website.
The Header element on your event website provides a navigation bar — called the Menu — that links to the pages on your site. You can manage which pages appear in the menu, the order they display in, and how they're labeled from the Header Links window.
Opening Header Links
To open the Header Links window, from the Website Editor, double-click on the Header element on the page to display its options.
You can also open the Header Links window by clicking Configure next to Menu Entries in the Website Editor Sidebar, or by clicking the cog icon on the Header element, then clicking the pencil icon.

The Header Links window displays all menu entries added to the website, along with where each link points to. Note that not all links display in the menu at all times — see Menu Entry Visibility below for details.
Managing Menu Entries
From the Header Links window, you can reorder, edit, or remove existing menu entries.
- Move — Drag and drop entries using the six-dot handle at the far left of each row to reorder the menu.
- Edit — Click the edit icon beside an entry to change the label displayed in the navigation menu. This changes the display name only and does not rename the page itself.
- Delete — Click the trash can icon to remove the entry from the menu. This only removes the menu link; it does not delete the page itself.
Adding Menu Entries
The Header Links window provides four options for adding new entries to your navigation menu.
Add Link to a Page
Click Add Link To Page to add an existing website page as a new menu entry. The entry is added to the end of the menu and links to the selected page. This does not create a copy of the page.

New pages are added to the menu automatically
When you use Add New Page to create a new page, a link to that page is automatically added to the end of the menu.
Add Link to a Special Page
Click Add Link To A Special Page to add a pre-configured special page as a menu entry. Special pages include options like Sign In, My Account, Contact Us, and Scan QR Code. These pages may not appear in all menu views depending on who is logged in. See Special Pages for the full list and details.

Add Link to a Website
Click Add Link To A Website to add an external URL as a menu entry. A New Entry item is immediately created at the end of the menu. Click the entry to edit its label and destination URL.

Add Submenu
Click Add Submenu to create a submenu header entry. Once created, drag and drop other menu entries under the submenu header to nest them beneath it. To move a submenu item back to the top level, click the arrow icon at the left of its row, or drag it out from beneath the submenu.

Menu Entry Visibility
Not all menu entries are visible to all visitors. When using the Website Editor in Standard or Full mode, all entries are visible. In Basic mode, or when viewing the site outside the editor, hidden entries will appear with an overlay while editing.
Visibility is determined by who is viewing the website:
- Registered Bidder — a bidder who is registered for and logged into the specific event.
- Visitor — a non-registered bidder, or a bidder who is not logged in.
- User — a member of the organization team. See User Accounts.

Menu entry notes
- The Register entry is replaced by My Account when a bidder is logged in. See Special Pages for more details.
- The Sign In entry is replaced by Sign Out when a user is logged in.
- Submenu entries are only visible if their top-level parent entry is also visible.
- The Cart icon only appears when an item has been added to the cart. For visitors (non-registered), it appears only if the event does not require registration before purchase.
- Scan QR Code is only available on mobile and tablet devices and does not appear on desktop browsers.
Hiding menu entries from visitors
You can control which menu entries are visible to the public without removing them entirely. See How To Hide Website Pages for more details.
