📱 Recording Bids & Donations (Admin App)
The Record menu in the Auctria Admin App makes it easy to capture bids, donations, and other contributions during your event.
All entries are saved directly to your event, keeping your records accurate in real time.
🎯 Why Use the Record Menu?
Recording bids and donations directly in the app allows your team to:
- 📊 Capture activity in the room and in the moment
- ⏱️ Keep fundraising totals up-to-date in real time
- 📝 Reduce manual entry and ensure data accuracy
▶️ Accessing the Record Menu
- Sign in to the Auctria Admin App on your Apple or Android device.
- Tap Record in the bottom-right corner of the home screen.
- Choose the Bidding tile or the Donations tile.
🏷️ Recording Bids
Use the Bidding tile to record bids for items during your event.
Steps:
- Tap Bidding.
- Select the bidding type:
- 🌐 Online bidding
- 📝 Paper bidding (bid sheets)
- 🎤 Live bidding
- Enter the following details:
- Item name or number
- Guest name or paddle number (or scan their QR Code)
- Bid amount

- Tap Proceed to save the bid.
💚 Recording Donations
Use the Donations tile to capture contributions such as Paddle Raise and Dessert Dash.
Steps:
- Tap Donations.
- Select the type of donation:
- 🙌 Paddle Raise
- 🍰 Dessert Dash
- 💵 Other donations
Enter the following details:
- Guest name or paddle number (or scan their QR code)
- Contribution amount
- For Paddle Raise, select a level or enter a custom amount

- Tap Proceed to save the donation.
💡 Best Practices
- ✅ Confirm guest and item details before saving.
- ⚡ Use preset levels for Paddle Raise to speed up entry.
