Module 2: Site Branding
Updating Event Branding
Now we'll customize the look and feel of your event website so it matches your brand and feels familiar to your guests.
🖼️ Step 1: Add Your Event Banner
Start with your home page banner. This is the first thing guests will see, so choose an image that represents your event.
From the Website Editor, double click the Header image and upload your preferred image.
💡 Tip: Use a wide, high-quality image for best results.
🎨 Step 2: Set Your Theme Colors
Next, let’s apply your brand colors. In the left sidebar, open Theme. You can choose a premade theme from the menu, or adjust colors by clicking the swatches next to each attribute.
Updating these swatches changes buttons, links, and highlights across your site.
💡 Tip: Stick with 2–3 main colors for a polished look.
🔤 Step 3: Choose Your Fonts
Now let’s set your fonts. You can use the default from your theme, or add a custom Google Font.
Click Add Font, type the font name, and it will apply automatically. You can also open the Google Fonts link in the sidebar to browse options before adding.
💡 Tip: Use one font for headers and one for body text to keep it easy to read.
And that’s it! In just a few clicks, you’ve transformed your site into a branded experience for your event. Next up, we’ll set your fundraising goal and donation options.
